VMware Workstation Player VMnet, VMnetcfg

vmnetcfg.exe for VMware Workstation Player 14 is here:
https://www.tobias-hartmann.net/2017/10/download-vmnetcfg-exe-fuer-vmware-workstation-14-x-player/
The command has to be run as administrator.
Older vmnetcfg doesn’t work for version 14.

Update 22-Sept-2016
Using VMware Workstation Player 12.5.0? Please download vmnetcfg.exe for v12.1.0 below and copy/paste it into your Program Files (x86) folder. It will work just fine.
>> Note: the extraction command no longer works from version 12.x onwards. If you want to obtain the vmnetcfg.exe file yourself instead of downloading it from here, you will have to:
1. Download and install VMware Workstation Pro 12.x.
2. Copy the vmnetcfg.exe file from the “Program Files” folder.
3. Uninstall VMware Workstation Pro 12.x.
4. Install VMware Workstation Player 12.x.
5. Copy the vmnetcfg.exe file you saved to the “Program Files” folder.

Select the network type to use:
Bridge mode:This connects the virtual network adapter directly to the physical network
NAT: This allows the virtual network adapter to share the host’s IP address
Host Only: This creates a private network that the virtual network adapter shares with the host
Custom: This allows you to create your own virtual network

Note: Although VMnet0, VMnet1 and VMnet8 are technically available in this menu, they are reserved for bridged, host-only, and NAT configurations, respectively and should not be removed or modified.
